What season of the year would you like to travel?
*
Spring “shoulder season” (April-May) – Wonderful time of year to visit with course access being easier. Spring is when courses are lined with yellow gorse/whins, links are green and lush.
Prime Time (June-August) – Best weather, largest number of tourists, most expensive and harder to get tee times. Courses are running hard and fast like at the Open Championship.
Fall “shoulder season” (September-October) – Fewer crowds and easier access to championship courses. St. Andrews is largely closed in September but Autumn golf in the British Isles is a treat.
How would you describe your desired experience?
*
On a tight budget. B&B accommodations, self-driving and with a mix of championship and member’s courses.
Championship courses with B&B accommodations and self-driving.
A mix of championship and member’s courses with upgraded accommodations and a concierge driver.
Luxury all the way. The best courses and accommodations with an RLGT concierge driver.
What types of off-course activities would you like to experience?
*
Sightseeing like castles, museums, cathedrals, scenic views, historical sites and cultural activities.
Guided tours of cities like Edinburgh, Dublin, St. Andrews and Belfast.
Great shopping.
Scotch Whisky Distillery tours.
A Scotch Whisky tasting experience.
An Irish Whiskey Experience.
Sporting events like golf tournaments, football (soccer) or hurling.
Live music concerts or live theater.

How many days off from golf would you like for off-course activities?
*
Day of arrival only – let us catch our breath from the overnight flight.
2 days should be enough – the day of arrival and one other.
Alternating days of golf and cultural experiences.
It depends! What do you recommend?
What type of location would you prefer for your accommodations?
*
A city with better activities, greater dining options and where things are “happening” (drives from cities to courses could be 20-60 minutes each way).
Near the courses in smaller towns or villages.
Wherever the best or most luxurious hotel experiences are located (again, driving distances vary but could be lengthy).
What standard of accommodations would best serve your group?
*
Luxury, 4-5-star hotels with full amenities.
Upscale manor or country homes with finer dining and amenities.
Mid-range hotels that are owned by locals and are convenient to courses.
A mix of B&Bs and mid-range hotels.
Strictly local B&Bs that are comfortable, clean and hosted by a friendly staff.
Sleeping arrangements?
*
Single occupancy. One person to a room.
Double occupancy. Two people to a room with single or twin beds.
What is your ground transportation preference?
*
Self-driving car, SUV or minivan.
Large van for up to 4 golfers with a local driver for course to course, pre-scheduled driving.
Large van for groups of 8+ golfers with an RLGT concierge driver at all times. Allows golfers to relax after a round of golf while enjoying the scenic countryside with an adult beverage while someone else does the driving on the left-side of the road.
What is your budget per person for golf, accommodations, ground transportation and activities (not including air transportation)?
*
$3,500
